The name of the franchise means “Brother,” which refers to the two brothers who created one of the greatest works in gaming history—first published by Microsoft in 1985, and later taken over by Sony after its acquisition in 1999, it became Assassin’s Creed. First released under the terms of Assassin’s creed III, their first major sequel, Assassin’s Creed II: Origins tells the story of how these twins sought out new territories and challenged old masters—mostly at first unruly barbarians, such as Templars, or then noblemen; their second installment covers more adventures against pirates and assassins—and yet even those who have joined the ranks of the Assassins still hold sway over them.

Video game plot summary [ edit ]
ACB begins with a prologue in 1789 when Edward Colston meets Catherine de Medici, a member of the Spanish army during Napoleon's invasion of France. Their meeting leads them into the Siege of Vienna shortly thereafter. Following a failed attempt at negotiation, they end up negotiating only to be besieged for another 14 years. After another unsuccessful attempt at reconciliation, Henry and Elizabeth give each other back, but they are betrayed again by Pierre-Marie Lavelle, who takes her away and goes to Paris. This time she falls to Napoleon's forces and dies from wounds sustained while fighting them. She leaves behind two children—a boy named Louis-Edmond, now seven years older than his mother, and a girl called Isabella, eight years older and having grown in body.
After the successful takeover of Paris by Napoleon Bonaparte, the family's life is changed drastically and Henry is forced to leave their home near Montmartre in Paris, leaving Catherine behind. He is informed that Catherine still lives in Constantinople and moves to Istanbul where he eventually embarks on her death quest. While traveling downriver through Turkey they meet Beychengar and join him in creating a huge empire. Before long they reach Crimea where Catherine meets Rashaïeh and they get married before heading south to Moscow along with her family in hopes of overthrowing Nicholas I. They do so successfully. Then they reach Siberia with Alexey Kriven, a Russian explorer.
They encounter many soldiers from both sides and can survive the siege of Petersburg and find themselves sailing on a steamer past Sakhalin Island. During the voyage, they learn about Czar Alexander Nevsky and are impressed with his bravery. On reaching Yalta, they are greeted by Baron von Zulu, a German soldier who is a relative of Catherine of Alexandria. Zulu sends Henry, Catherine, Alexandra, Rashaïeh, and Alexey Kriven to look for someone they know who can help Catherine escape. A few days later Catherine arrives in Sochi and sets sail on her journey as King George V of Great Britain and Ireland and then Russia to rescue her husband and son. Along the way, Henry discovers his past, learns of Catherine's sister Maria Teresa (Maria Lise), and meets Princess Alexandra. As Catherine tries to make ends meet for the remainder of her life, Henry brings them food and money without regard for anything else.
While traveling toward England Henry encounters Baron von Haldenberstein, a nobleman who disguises himself as a mercenary. There they fall in love, despite Henry realizing that there is no spark between Catherine and Baron Von Haldenberstein. Unfortunately, Henry does not realize this until Catherine decides to tell him, and the relationship disintegrates when Catherine tells Henry the truth about Catherine's sister Maria Teresa. The relationship does not turn around until Catherine returns to England to confront Baron von Haldenberstein while saving Catherine's family. When Catherine finally returns to Russia after nearly dying during childbirth, they reunite for a short period at Gusevka. They have reunited once again after Catherine regains control of Moscow's palace after escaping from there, after stealing a piece of jewelry belonging to the royal family. However, Catherine is soon exiled and forced to marry the heir apparent to her late sister Maria Teresa von Hazelden. Once she reaches the United States she meets Prince Harry. At the same time, she meets Charles Manson and becomes friends with John Constantine. In the US she helps prevent war during Vietnam when he agrees to stop attacking Viet Minh troops. Later on, she is confronted by Robert Hansen, a former British marine turned American activist. She uses her power to try and kill Hansen and kills him. During this confrontation, a man named Bob Morley appears. He attempts to kill Catherine at the airport but refuses to shoot her to avoid causing further damage. The battle ends in a shootout and she reveals herself to be a double agent and is shot by Hansen in a brief chase.
The main antagonist of this narrative is Vincent Van Gogh. Even though Vincent van Gogh knew she was a double agent it did not stop her from trying to murder Catherine and she was successful. Her intention to get revenge for what he did to her sister Maria Teresa was an obvious conspiracy. Vincent was also an assassin and was known to protect him and sometimes behead people. His motive was the assassination of Catherine of Alexandria. Although Vincent could have killed Catherine they were going to fight over her, but Vincent wanted more for Catherine than just killing Catherine. Vincent was also obsessed with Catherine's beauty. Vincent wanted to see Catherine of all things and everything, whether it be women, men, beautiful creatures, or anything else.
The main setting of this third, fourth, and fifth ACB is New York. It starts with a description that paints a picture of modern-day New York City. From this point onwards the visual style used is typical of the era while some elements from the genre of science fiction and horror are present.
The most prominent feature of New York is the view from rooftops. This is similar to New Orleans architecture. Some skyscrapers appear, like Times Square and World Trade Center buildings. An iconic rooftop landmark is Staten Island which includes an artificial island with an ocean surrounding it. These structures seem to represent different times and places in New York with the most notable being a building on 34th Street between 52nd and 54th streets, an extremely tall structure. Due to Manhattan being on top of a hill it is also referred to as "the Flatiron".Another example of a skyline is the One World Trade Center which resembles a giant mushroom.
In ACB it seems like a new city has been built. New York also features themes of violence, crime, drug trafficking, prostitution, and poverty. There are also references to Shakespearean literature. For instance, the city featured several famous plays and poems by William Shakespeare, like All My Sons. In addition, the playwright Richard III of York is based on the king who died trying to defend New York.
